The Trinity University Heritage Society

Trinity University’s Heritage Society recognizes dedicated alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends who have kindly and thoughtfully remembered the University in their estate plans, including bequests, life income arrangements and beneficiary designations. The benefactors of these future gifts share in shaping Trinity in years to come, providing the endowments and other funds that enable the University to change the lives of students and secure its place among the top liberal arts colleges and universities in the United States.

More than 250 individuals and families are members of the Heritage Society by virtue of providing for Trinity in their plans. They share the satisfaction of turning their good intentions into a lasting impact, knowing that their future gifts will benefit deserving young men and women seeking a Trinity education in perpetuity.

Trinity is grateful for their commitment and arrangements for these gifts. To express our appreciation and to inspire others to arrange estate gifts, Trinity welcomes these supporters into the Heritage Society. Gifts of all sizes qualify for this recognition. There is no minimum or maximum gift amount required for recognition.

If you have included Trinity in your plans, we encourage you to notify the Office of Planned Giving. Sharing your intentions in advance enables us to properly steward and thank you for your gift every year; ensures that there is clarity on how your future gift will support Trinity in the way that you wish; and helps the University plan for the future by being aware of future gifts.

Joining the Heritage Society is as simple as informing Trinity that you have arranged a gift and completing an estate gift form. All information is kept confidential. You may remain anonymous if you wish.

To share your plans or learn more about the Heritage Society, contact Mike Patterson at mpatters@trinity.edu or 210-999-8452.
